About Coordinate Formats:
- Decimal Degrees (DD) – Simple decimal representation, commonly used in GPS systems and digital mapping
- Degrees Minutes Seconds (DMS) – Traditional format using degrees, minutes, and seconds with direction indicators
- Degrees Decimal Minutes (DM) – Hybrid format using degrees and decimal minutes, common in marine navigation
- Latitude ranges from 0° to 90° (North/South), Longitude ranges from 0° to 180° (East/West)
- Negative values in decimal format represent South (latitude) and West (longitude)
